When I click on "Find Full Text" in EndNote, it only finds about 1/4 of the references. Is there a way to increase the number of journals it can find? Unfortunately it doesn't seem to know of Science, or Ecology, or Evolution. Is this just a Thomson-Reuters contractual thing?

Could someone explain to me two references I don't get? In Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, Billy receives a letter from "Dead, Not Sleeping" (clip). Is that a reference to something? Also, in the Total Eclipse of the Heart "literal" video I posted to Mefi, there's a lyric that says: "And I've joined the Glee Club of the Damned (reference joke!)" (clip). What's "Glee Club of the Damned" a reference to? I presume it's a reference to something since they outright say it is ...

What are the best resources for computer novices? I often find myself in the position of helping friends and family figure out how to operate their computers (typically Windows XP or Vista, but OS X tips are welcome too.) While I realize there's no substitute for face-to-face instruction, my time is not infinite and I'd like to be able to set them up with some bookmarks or documents that will give them guidance when I'm not around. I'm looking for photo references for a project I'm working on about Jewish life in Eastern Europe at the turn of the last century as well as the early Zionist movement in Israel (back before the 1948 war), including early kibbutz life. I'm sure there is a wealth of material out there, which ironically makes it harder to find what I'm looking for. How to sift through it all? [more inside]

What resources are available to investigate the meaning of a philosophical term in ancient Greek? I'm looking for something far more detailed than just a dictionary or a translation of a passage--I'd like to be aware of the shades of meaning and nuances of use, historical baggage, etc. In case some context is helpful, there are a couple of Greek terms that might be useful as metaphors in a dissertation, but I want to make sure that I know all the ways that the terms might be taken when designing the metaphor. The catch is that I don't speak any Greek, either ancient or modern; however, resources in English, French, Spanish, and German are all options.

I'm a librarian and general tech-assistance resource at a high school library. (So I also do password changes for school accounts, fix the copier, and put paper in the printer, besides reference questions and more involved projects.)
The classic way to track what questions a librarian answers is with a piece of paper and hash marks. Due to our paper reduction desires (and my desire to not have a piece of paper taking up valuable desk space), I'd really like a way to track this via computer.
We want to keep simple stats both so we can demonstrate what we're doing that isn't a big obvious project, but also so we can show if specific choices have a very high staff-time cost that keeps us from other things. (Like how they decided to handle student passwords this year.) [more inside]

UK Based question
A company have offered me a job, want references to prove I used to be self employed.
They have asked to speak to my accountant.
This is a problem, because my accountant is a family relative who does them as a favour and has only been working on the accounts for the last 6 months.
I used to be a sole trader ship, but when the IT contracting laws changed in 2007 I had to create an LTD. Before then I used a Managed service company for my contracts instead, so its a little complicated.
Does anyone know what sort of questions or evidence a Companies HR department is likely to ask of my accountant?

I'm writing a book that is heavily self-referential. How can I place markers in some other part of the document (ex: "For more information, refer to "Foo" on page "Bar") throughout the entire document and have that page Bar change as the information anchor moves around?
I'm using Google Docs, but I'm willing to switch software if need be. Solution needs to be compatible with OSX.
