I have a RAID 1 running on an Adaptec 1200A controller. I want to increase harddrive size from 50GB to 200GB. So I changed out one of the 50GB with the 200GB, copied and then changed out the remaining 50GB with the other 200GB. So I have everything running as 200GB but Windows (and the RAID BIOS configuration) shows me as only having 50GB. Please tell me I can do this without formatting the harddrives and without wasting $300+ on these expensive drives. [more inside]
