What's the best way to have a document turned into a fill-in-the-blanks quiz? In other words, I'm looking for a program that will remove key words from a document for the purpose of memorization. Ideally, it would avoid filler words like "and," "of," or "for," etc.

I want to do a quiz that encourages having a guess above getting the exact right answer. What I'm looking for is a collection of questions and answers where the answer is some estimable number.

Ten years or so ago, I played (the predecessor to)
this now defunct quiz. Basically, there was a list of questions each week. You answered as many as you could and emailed in your answers with explanations/justifications (plus an entry fee of a question for a future quiz). Is there something similar out there now?

I run a monthly Pub Quiz and I have a website, running on Wordpress which I use for announcing upcoming quizzes, publishing results and past questions / answers. At the moment I publish the questions and answers (50 per month) as separate blog posts with a category of Question or Answer tagged with the month and year. Is there a smarter, more intuitive way of doing it?

I am on the planning committee of an annual event held by my grad program in which the students and faculty do various activities and performances, play games, and generally make fun of each other. I need some ideas, preferably involving laughter and/or making the faculty do slightly embarrassing stuff.

I need to build a website where part of the functionality is to provide a weekly or biweekly quiz, and if all of the answers are correct, a certificate is provided to download and print. Ideally, the quiz takers name would be on the certificate as well. And it would be super fabulous if it integrated well with joomla or wordpress, but at that point I'm probably asking for magic ponies dipped in dark chocolate, but figured I'd ask. Any suggestions?

Can you recommend any XBOX 360 (or PC/MAC/Linux for that matter) games that are more quiz / education oriented (not counting Trivial Pursuit).
Specifically, I'm thinking of games that involve things like: naming / identifying countries / capitals / rivers / mountains etc; naming / identifying species of animals or plants; anatomy / medicine type stuff; physics simulators like Phun.

I am looking for this website that has flash quizzes and for the life of me I cannot remember what it is called. Probably the most noticeable thing about it is the quizzes come in episodes and the loading screen always contains the top half of a bald head and the eyes follow your mouse around. Anyone know what this website is called?

A while back someone ran a personality test called
The Cube on me. I've also played a similar game whereby each participant in turn says "I have
never done
[name of activity x goes here]" and the others around the table have to drink if they
have done
x. Can you recommend any other fun games, personality tests or quizzes that can be used in social situations, can be easily memorised, don't require much in the way of additional materials and help you get to know others better? School-age, juvenile stuff is perfectly acceptable!
