Please suggest bike routes in New England that meet some specific criteria. We took our son on a section of the East Bay Bike Path near Providence for his first bike ride last week and he loved it. He sits in an
iBert on Mom's bike. We are looking for similar routes. In looking for similar I articulate what specifically I think is good about this path for us in the extended explanation. We can ride weekdays in addition to weekends. Thanks.

We need a sanity check on this trip, please! My partner and I are planning on getting out of South Carolina by this summer. We know we'd like to live further north, but there are five places we're considering and we're trying to plan the most economical yet useful trip to help us decide. So: what is the cheapest way to visit Pittsburgh, PA, Syracuse, NY, Burlington, VT, Portland, ME, and Providence, RI in a week?

My s.o. is applying for a medical residency in the US. We'll know where we're going to be placed in mid-March and chances are good that we'll end up in Baltimore, New Haven or Providence. I work in a field with very limited options in these three places and I'm wondering what I can do over the next few months, if anything, to prepare in case I have to move and get a new job.

Ideas for bachelorette party in Providence, RI? I really wanted to do a group hot tub/ sauna thing but have not been able to find a place. I have a group of about 12 ladies. I love the outdoors, spas, games. It would be nice to do something intimate where we can talk and bond. Also, a low price point is important because the girls are all coming from out of town. Thanks so much for your help!

I am moving from Brooklyn, NY to Providence, RI next month. I have a full-size upright piano which needs to be moved. The problem is, my dream apartment in Providence is on the second floor and so the piano will either need 4-5 movers or a crane (as per a quote) because of the winding stairs. Piano movers have given me crazy expensive quotes (around $2000) which I cannot afford. I do have a quote for about $500 from local movers to unload the piano into the apartment from a truck, probably less if they can bring it up the stairs (that's with a crane). Which of the following options would you choose, or do you have another solution entirely? Any piano mover recommendations for NYC-Providence accepted!

A while ago, I had the battery to my (nice) watch replaced while on vacation. Since it was water resistant to a decent depth, I had the store do a water pressure test, post-replacement. Not too long after, but definitely after the vacation, the watch stopped working. It would also fog up inside the watch face. I want my watch to work again, but I've lost a bit of faith in the average jewelry store.
I live in Providence RI. Do you know any reputable, reliable, and skilled watch repair persons?

So I'm going to the Death Cab for Cutie concert in Providence tonight, coming from Boston. It turns out that renting a car and driving is cheaper than seeing the act in Boston due to ridiculous fees. However, the concert's been moved to the Brown University campus.
For those who know the campus well--how easy is it to find parking after 5 near Meeham Auditorium? Will it be cheaper/easier to get street parking? Any secretly perfect parking spots? (and so on!) Google Satellite view shows a parking lot right in front of the place, but if it's not public I'd like to avoid circling for parking in a relatively unfamiliar place.
Thanks!
