Hi, simple question here. My friends and I are designing logos on photoshop. We'd like to put the finished logos on some shirts what we'll probably wear for a marathon. I'd love to hear some recommendations on what reputable online sites you might have used - I found a a decent bunch of choices on google, but can't seem to find reviews so It'd be nice to have some anecdata.

I work for a company that has many sub-companies (an LLC for each project, that sort of thing). We are re-designing our logo and need to reprint all of our letterhead. We have some that we use frequently, which I will be ordering from a commercial printer. We have others however that are used very infrequently (think 5-10 sheets a year or less). How can I best print our own letterhead for those very short runs? [more inside]

We have a PC (purchased within the last year) and an HP OfficeJet J6480 printer (a few years old). Last week we switched our wireless connection from an AT&T DSL to AT&T UVerse. We networked both the computer and the printer. (I networked the printer BOTH from the computer and on its own through the glass panel--there is no way the thing is NOT networked at this point.) I reinstalled the printer software with the latest download from the HP tech support site. We tried connecting the printer to the computer directly with a cable. We have turned the computer, printer, and router on and off until we're blue in the face. The printer has two full cartridges of ink. It says it's the default printer and that it's online. It even SAYS it's printing something when I send a document to it--and then two minutes later it says sorry, can't print. WHY are the computer and printer not communicating? Is their relationship doomed forever? [more inside]

Anyone have a good/safe source for a driver for the HP Laser Jet 1000 - difficulty Windows 8.1?
The printer is a workhorse but my dad just "upgraded" to a new computer with 8.1 and I'd like to find him a way to use this printer.
It's an ancient printer and HP long ago stopped supporting it (of course, because HP).

I am trying to run an old Samsung ML-2510 laser printer off a USB port with a desktop running Windows 8. I have downloaded the appropriate universal print driver and Samsung Easy Printer Manager. The printer installed and ran fine when I first bought it (used), but after a month or two the computer wouldn't recognize it for whatever reason. After a day of fiddling and installing and uninstalling drivers, changing USB ports, etc., I can get it to run perfectly. I then print off my stuff. The next time I go to use it, the computer can't find it and won't run it. Anyone have this problem with a computer recognizing a printer intermittently? I can understand it not working at all, but why does it work perfectly and then quit working, apparently at random intervals?

I am looking for a laser printer for our studio / office. A second hand one seems sensible and I understand the page count is important, but it's hard to find decent information on the internet about which companies are reliable and which machine produce good copies and have cheaper spares and toner.
A3 is important and so is a high quality print. I was looking at a Ricoh Aficio CL7000, but I don't really have any idea! Any help would be fantastic as would suggestions of where I should be buying this thing.

We're trying to optimize our home printing. We don't print an enormous amount, but we want to print in color and to be able to print in moderately high quality.
You've already solved this problem and put some thought into minimizing cartridge expense: what printer do you use? how often do you replace the ink? do you refill the cartridges at a store or buy new ones from the OEM?
(Bonus points if you've solved this problem for the HP 8600.) [more inside]

My wife and I are looking into investing in a 3D printer in the $2-3,000 price range. Can anyone who actually owns one / has used one extensively give any suggestions on brands/models to look at?
We're hoping for a basic desktop model with a size capacity of about 8"x8"x8" for making small props, prototypes, etc.
Also, what can one expect to pay for the "goop" or whatever they use for a printing medium?

This didn't happen before I tried removing any other printer documents and setting my main printer as the default. Can someone help? What question whould I be asking or what should I change to stop the print settings to changing documents to the pdf format and then having me save them on my computer? I want them to print directly into a word document as they did previously before.

What is the best color printer for the following use case: photos up to 5x7 of patients pre/post operation. The images will not be used for diagnosis so there is no requirement for ultra-high-quality, but the images must still be decent. Must be Mac compatible. We cannot use a professional lab as the images will be confidential.
Not sure what kind of spend is required here but I'd be surprised if there wasn't something suitable under $500.

I have an antique label from a Spanish olive oil producer. The printer's name is at the bottom of the label in minuscule print. Even with a pretty good magnifying glass, the name is difficult to make out. It looks like "Huryabo" or "Hunyabo" or "Hursabo" or something like that. The name is followed by the place name "Jerez". I would like to know what the correct spelling of this printer's name is and when this print shop was in operation. Thanks. The label is probably from sometime between 1930 and the 1950s.

I have a MacBook running OS X 10.6.8 and a Brother HL-2270DW printer. This morning I had to reset my entire system using Time Machine; everything else is up and running, but the printer doesn't work. I've tried reinstalling it with the printer setup disc, but the laptop won't detect our wireless connection when I get to that step (it suggests disabling my personal firewall, but I don't have one set up.), and the laptop won't let me add any printers in System Preferences. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated, because I've spent all afternoon trying to figure this out.

March 2013 edition ! A non-profit that I volunteer with is looking to buy a new all-in-one machine to do its printing, scanning, copying, and faxing for its office. Non-profit uses windows. Initial budget is $300-500.
Most of the printing will be in b&w but will occasionally need to print in color (not for photos but for small logos on flyers, etc).
What should I recommend to them ? Laser ? Inkjet, no right ? They'd rather not since space is at a premium there.

I just got a cheap-o HP printer that features two sided printing. It seems to print on one side, suck the paper back in, and print on the other side. Does anyone know how this works? Does it flip the paper over? My guess is that it loops it back in (back facing down), probably raises the heads, and "prints upside down" the other side.
But I'd love to see a diagram or video. Can't find one, though.
