More Hot Powerbook Action! My Powerbook G4 seems to run especially hot since I got a new battery, a generic-ish 3rd party dealie I bought off eBay. And the power adapter just failed. Could the battery cause these troubles? If so, where should I look for proper battery replacements? [more inside]

MacBrowserHell: I just updgraded from a Lombard 333 Mhz Powerbook to a G4 667 TiBook with 1GB RAM. Camino now seems to run dog-slow. And the others have their troubles... [more inside]

Powerbook Repair In Process: I've taken apart my Powerbook G3/333 Lombard in order to replace the AC/Soundcard (and darned if I can't see cracked solder at the solder points). Now that I've got it pretty thoroughly disassembled, I wonder if there's any other upgrades I should take the trouble to do while I'm here. [more inside]
