On my laptop running on XP, the Samsung mp3 player YP-U3 is only detected by Real and Windows Media Player. -- But I'm not interested in managing the files with these applications. I would simply like to see the player icon appear in the 'My Computer' window but it doesn't. [more inside]

I would like to dowwnload a registry cleaner, but find all the comparisons seem to be sponsored by a software company trying to sell THEIR cleaner, which of course, is "the best" of those compared. Is there a truly independent comparison I can refer to? Or, is RegCure REALLY the best one to try or do they just have a huge marketing budget!?? My problem is the stupid flash player ver 10 won't download properly, and I'm hoping a reg cleaner will help. Anyone know?

Lately, my record player (not turntable) of four years hasn't been working correctly. When I turn it on, the platter part of it doesn't start spinning until I give it a slight nudge. Even after doing so, it still doesn't spin at the right speed (33 1/3 sounds more like 45, 45 sounds closer to 78, etc). Is there a relatively easy way to fix this or should I just buy a new one? My current model is really similar to the new 3-in-1 "vintage-style" Crosley.

When downloading a file from Rapidshare sometimes the default video player on my computer (windows xp) switches to something called “Nero Cover Designer,” and I cannot play the video. I have Nero software, and can’t seem to stop my computer defaulting to this, no matter how many times I go into the control panel and try to ensure all files go via windows media player. I am not at all I.T. savvy, so any suggestions in the most simple language possible would be much appreciated.

Greetings, I have burned a audio cd with windows media player 11 and would like to print out the list of songs. In order to do this I need to find and install mpexp.dll. The only site that I can find that has this insists that I enter a security code that states Only enter symbols attached to a cat. Of course it is impossible to determine which symbols to enter because they want you to join the premium service for a fee. Does anyone know where I can find this dll. By the way the site is Rapidshare.com, obviously a site to be avoided. I also find it very frustrating to have to go through all this bunk just to print out a list!

Is there software to automatically manage podcasts on my Rio Carbon Pearl? I checked "Don't ask me again" when dragging one artist into another in WMP11 on vista in order to change all the names from one to another (to combine "the beatles" and "beatles" into one, in this case), expecting it to just do it without asking in the future, but now I've lost this functionality altogether. How can I re-enable it?

I've just changed mobile 'phone provider to T-Mobile's Web'n'walk Max, which allows me 'unlimited' web access (up to 3Gb/month which is their 'fair use' limit). So, this means I can now listen to Radio 4 online (at 20.7Kbps live, I'm informed by my PDA) - but how much radio can I listen to before I exceed my limit (bearing in mind I'll be wanting to do a bit of surfing etc. too)?
