I want to improve my digital photo organization at work, and I don't care about anything in iPhoto except Events. Unfortunately, I really
appreciate being able to visually browse Events as a central database of every photo upload ever.
It feels like there's no easy visual browsing in the Adobe suite, is this true? Should I just get better at using keywords in Bridge, or is there something magical in Lightroom that I don't know about? [more inside]

I often use exposure bracketing with my Panasonic DMC-FX01. But now I have a problem, a huge chunk of my iPhoto library is taken up by trios of the same shot only one of which is actually needed for my archive. Is there some easy way to review bracketed sets and select one while deleting the rest?
I have a zillion photos in iPhoto and half a zillion scattered around my hard disks. I'd like to organise them all into clean, portable folders, keeping my iPhoto ratings and killing dupes, and somehow automate this process. [more inside]

What is the best approach to color management? I only just realised that how I see my photos in iPhoto, Photoshop, and Safari isn't how the majority of people on the net are seeing them? What is the best setup for consistent color management that still looks good? [more inside]

iPhoto help: A friend is coming to use my computer when I'm not here. I have photos on the computer which another friend of ours does not want anyone to see. Is there a way to password protect existing photos or albums or easily hide them so I can get them back easily? I searched and it seems no is the answer but I'm hoping MeFites know a workaround. I'm on iPhoto 5.
I switched to Aperture from iPhoto and love it, but I miss feeling connected with my old photos like I used to. Help develop strategies to stay in touch with them in Apple's grown-up photo client. [more inside]

I have iPhoto2 on my Mac but after 3.5 years I find it pretty lame, so I decided to buy iPhoto6: but then I found out it comes bundled with iLife 06, ie 7 Gb of other programs I don't really want or need. I have about 11 Gb of free disk space. Is there a way to find a simple copy of iPhoto6 or, say, even iPhoto4? It should be about 600-700 Mb, I suppose. thanks!
