Oh no! My winter squash, cucumbers, and peas are failing. Can anybody tell me why and what, if anything, I can do about it? Pictures inside. [more inside]
I just wish I could find somewhere a hooded men's pea coat such as this All Saints one that is actually in stock. No luck whatsoever. Any suggestions? [more inside]
Super Concentrated Soup? So I made split pea and pesto with pork soup two nights ago and I made too much. It also sat on low for a bit too long and is now a thick green paste. What do I do with it? Is it still safe to eat? Can i do anything to it besides adding water and making more soup? How best can I use these leftovers? [more inside]
I am wanting to find an official Navy pea coat. I had recently seen a site that had the history of the pea coat with different time periods and button count. Unfortunately, I cannot find it. If anyone can recommend a place that I could order one of high quality online and/or miraculously knows the site (with the photos from past to present) I am talking about, let me know. I know there are plenty of Army/Navy websites but I don't know which are the better ones to purchase such a coat.
Looking at the earlier soup post, I thought I might make a nice split pea soup. Alas, I have no ham bone. I then thought I might like to try a good vegetarian version, but one of my favorite parts of the split pea experience is the salty smokey part of the soup-- which it gets from the ham. Does anyone have a good meatlovers vegetarian split pea soup recipe (if that makes sense)?
