I found my old Palm T|X today. It doesn't (AFAIK) do anything my mobile phone doesn't do these days, and it's considerably bulkier, but it seems like a waste to just recycle it. Is there anything interesting I can do with an aging PDA?

My Palm Centro will not sync with a pc. Originally thought that the cable was bad so I bought a new one. However it still will not sync. I have found several fixes on the web, and tried most, but none have worked. The one solution I have not tried yet is a hard reset of the phone. I am afraid that if I still can not sync after a hard reset I will need a new phone. I took the phone to Sprint and their answer was you it will not sync, we can sell you a new phone. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?

Why does this trick work? Turn your palm face up. To turn your palm face down you must twist your wrist, right? But if you do six simple moves you can turn your palm face down without twisting your wrist. The trick appears at the beginning of this
talk by Lennart Green but can also be done
backwards.

Is there a PDA that can play an MP3 file and adjust its tempo during playback? Or, is there software for a PDA platform (Windows Mobile or Palm) that can do this? I'm looking for a PDA that can playback lecture recordings that are MP3 format and that can speed them up or slow them down on-the-fly. A bookmarking feature for the MP3's would be nice also.

I have lost the charger for my Palm Tungsten E. I know I can buy a replacement online, but I need to use my Palm quickly and don't want to wait for something to be shipped if I can avoid it. Most stores don't seem to stock the charger for the E, since it's an older model. My question: will the charger from any other Palm/Treo/Handspring model work with my PDA, and if so, what stores (in the greater Atlanta area) are likely to carry it?

I'm working a project where I need to be able to physically inventory computer equipment. We have 4 Palm/Symbol barcode scanners, I'd like to be able to scan a barcode and produce a csv file. Everything that I find on google I need to pay for and configure extensively. I have neither approval to purchase anything, or time to figure out a program. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm using a Macbook with Tiger (10.4.10) installed and Missing Sync 5.1.2 (140) installed. When I sync my Treo 650 to iCal, my events in both places (Mac/Palm) show up in the wrong time zones, so the times are wrong. I've never been to exotic places like Havana, Montreal, or Indianapolis, so this won't work for me.
