PPC, CPM, SEO, SEM, Ad Buy, Advertising and Marketing Filter: My Company is now making a big push into email marketing and lead and customer nurturing. We bought “Eloqua” to do this, and I am charged with the implementation. Since I want to "add the most value" I can, I am looking for resources (especially blogs, but books are good too) that are well respected, and that can help me get up to speed with my understanding of industry parlance, technique, best practices, theory, and execution of online advertising and marketing in all its forms (We are going to be making a push into search engine marketing as well). So far I have read "
The Long Tail" and "
Digital Body Language" I am also interested in keeping up with industry news and events, as well as new technologies and implementations.

I've currently got a HP Mini-Note 2133 running Ubuntu. I was going to take a stab at installing OS X on it this coming weekend when I realized I could get a 12" iBook or PowerBook G4 for roughly the same price and it would still be small enough I wouldn't mind carrying it around with me all the time and it would run OS X with no hassle. I'd keep my MacPro as my primary workstation that I use for image editing and such, this would just be for email and for surfing the web on the go. If I get a G4 era laptop and install Leopard on it (want to use Back to My Mac after I roll my own dot mac) will I have any issues? I've only recently become a Mac user after years on Linux, so I never used a PPC-based system. Will application like Camino, Mail, Adium, etc all run with no problems? This is what the universal binary thing is all about, right?
Anything else I should be aware of? Any tips or tricks for slimming down 10.5 to make it run better on the older hardware?
Thanks!

I've just changed mobile 'phone provider to T-Mobile's Web'n'walk Max, which allows me 'unlimited' web access (up to 3Gb/month which is their 'fair use' limit). So, this means I can now listen to Radio 4 online (at 20.7Kbps live, I'm informed by my PDA) - but how much radio can I listen to before I exceed my limit (bearing in mind I'll be wanting to do a bit of surfing etc. too)?

PocketPCfilter: I want to charge my iPaq 3955 and use an accessory simultaneously - unfortunately, the AC uses the same plug at the bottom of the unit. SO: Is there a way to split the plug, or am I going to have to splice the two things together somehow? I've asked this question on PocketPC boards to no avail. (I'm not a huge fan of PPC, but this is for a specific little project.)
