I need to know why my HTML form isn't sending me e-mail when the user submits it. It also doesn't go to the header page after submission. However, the submitted info DOES show up in the URL. ( e.g., http://www.example.com/contactus.html?Name=John&Title=CEO....) [more inside]

I need a PHP-based email script that will take the name, email, subject, and message form fields I pass to it and send them to me with the name and email used as the "From" field in the message header. I also need to put a value in the header that identifies the sender's IP address. And, of course, I need a script that is not vulnerable to header injection spam attacks. Any recommendations?

PHP comment script -- any recommendations? I want users to be able to add comments to the bottom of an existing static HTML, non-blog page. I'd also like something that won't let the comments get loaded with gambling and Viagra spam.

A client wants to enable fiile uploads via their web site. The web site is hosted outside the company and the files need to be uploaded to their FTP server which is hosted within or on-site at the company. Thus far all the components I've looked into upload to the web server. Is this simply the only option? Can anyone recommend a good component or alternate method? PHP, ASP are fine.

Is there a script (perl or php, no MySQL because I don't understand it and don't want to learn it) that password-protects a webpage so that it can be viewed only by someone who logs in with a username and a password, and also logs that user, so that you can have a record (very important) of who's viewed the page? If so, where can I get me one?

Ok, so I have a php script that updates a txt file on my server with data pulled from an rss feed on Scrobbler. I have it set to refresh the feed when a user accesses a page on my site, and the local txt file is stale. There's (obviously) a noticeable lag accessing this page when the feed is being refreshed. My question: Is there a way to call the refresh script such that it would be its own process, independent of my pagebuilding script.

Due to "security concerns," my web host provider has just banned two Form-to-email scripts (Formmail and NMS Formmail). Now I'm hard up to find a replacement. Any ideas? I'd prefer a solution that doesn't require a mastery of PERL to configure.

I am looking for a simple script (perl, php, whatever) or even binary utility that can programatically render graphical images in this manner: take XYZ font (true-type/postscript/whatever) and render an image with the text ABC.
Does such a thing exist?
