I've assassinated two Blackberry 7105 devices, and it's obvious I can't get out of carrying one. But my boss graciously did not make me pay for them, and I'll actually feel bad if I break the new one. Can the MeFi digerati recommend a protective carrying case? [more inside]

When I'm writing an email using Gmail, every draft version of it ends up on my BlackBerry because of the autosave feature. If I take my time writing, this can add up to an insane number of drafts popping up, and drives me batty. How can I prevent this from happening without switching POP access on and off manually, and without disabling autosave?

My gf wants to buy a Blackberry. She knows zip about them and isn't that tech savvy. She's on a Windows machine at work and plans on getting a Mac for home in the future. I know lots about Palm devices but nothing about these things. What's all the advice you got on Blackberries? Models to avoid/ get, tricks to do with them, good sites w/ reviews, best places to buy, etc. Thanks!
