Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

My PC is running slow. So I went to ProcessLibrary.com to check the programs running in task manager. I've also got Malwarebytes and AVG Anti-Virus running. But these programs aren't impenetrable. Consequently, I've learned there are many legitimate programs that have double identities. [more inside]

Texting from PC

I want to text message from my PC and I'm not interested in international texting. Is there reliable freeware that doesn't need the carrier of the number I'm texting to, and doesn't load me or the recipient up with spam? I'll even pay for it, but I'm tired of going through my cellphone. Another question is, would the recipient and me get a text charge?

Help with IPAQ

I have an HP iPAQ 2750. Around the same time it was manufactured, lots of aftermarket hardware and software came out with promises to enhance the device. One of those applications was a GPRS/GSM plug in modem (via the CF Card slot) and software from a company called Enfora. The modem was bundled with software from a company called BVRP. There was other software without a modem which also installed phone tools on the PDA from another company called WebToGo. [more inside]
