My Outlook 2003 program is suddenly freezing ALL. THE. TIME. I have tried repairing the .pst folder, creating a new profile, and loading the system CD -- no love. (In fact, I loaded the system CD and it couldn't even FIND the file I needed to check Outlook.) I have done a virus scan -- it's fine. Help.
(And PLEASE, PLEASE do not be cute by responding with "Get a Mac," unless you are going to give me the money to do so.)

I use Outlook 2003 at work, and I have several rules created to automatically sort my incoming mail into specific folders. I usually create a folder for each department and sub-folders for each person within that department that I communicate with.
My question is: Normally when an incoming mail message is recieved and sorted automatically into a folder, the folder's name changes to bold and a number is displayed in blue indicating the number of unread messages in that folder. An example would be I have a Jason Johnson subfolder in my Human Resources folder. The Jason Johnson sub-folder goes bold when I receive a message from him, but not the Human Resources folder it is contained within. Is there a way to make the "parent" folder go bold to indicate that a subfolder within it has a new message?
I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance for your help.

Non-Googlable tech support! I have a friend doing hosting off courier-imap. I am forced to use Outlook 2003 as a client. With Outlook, no matter which machine I go to, I cannot access my IMAP account and only return an error (detailed inside) about Outlook is unable to download folder (null). Here are links of people with the same problem but no solutions, 1, 2, 3. [more inside]

My office just upgraded all of us to Outlook 2003 and I've lost functionality that I found very helpful. In Outlook 2000 I was able to display both a portion of my Calendar as well my Tasks in the main view of my mailboxes. I've gone through numerous options to find this functionality, but no luck. Any suggestions for restoring said functionality?

I'm running Outlook 2003 (I have to! Not a choice!) and I need to now convert from POP3 to IMAP seamlessly. It seems like whenever I try to do it my old e-mail is in the Personal Folder section and it creates a new IMAP folder. This is unacceptable! I want everything to look generally like it is, and do it without exporting a PST and reimporting and all such nonsense. [more inside]
