I've moved to an office which uses Macbooks and Gmail/Google calendar. I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss Outlook! My company won't pay for a licence, but I'd be willing to pay for it myself to bring some order back to my life. Is this possible? Can I buy something like this and sych it with my company Gmail? The reviews are pretty poor, would it be more hassle than it's worth? Anything else I should consider? [more inside]
I know how to move the pst files and where to find them. I know about the NK2 files and how to migrate them through versions. By hand. But . . . Is there a reliable tool that allows me to backup all the account information which is stored in the registry, together with all pst files and everything else? I install a program on Win 7 machine A running Outlook 2010 and then move a bunch of files to Win 7 machine B, run a command and when I start Outlook 2010 everything just works. [more inside]
I have been experiencing terrible bouts of depression and anxiety for the past four months or so now. I also have turbulent mood swings, ranging from being content in the morning, and scornfully miserable in the afternoon. I'm not certain what is causing all of this. I'm not an emotionally stable person; always unhappy and anxious. I have lost all desire to fulfill my hobbies, which includes: writing, reading, watching documentaries, deep conversations, watching old films, debating, poetry, social activism, and learning knowledge in general. I do not think I'm intellectual or socially exciting enough, therefore I have abandoned all of my hobbies. [more inside]

If my work email inbox changes, even slightly, my anger meter goes immediately to 10, and I spend entirely too much time being grumpy and fussing about it. How can I reframe these annoyances as opportunities for zen and personal growth, instead of a blood rage that leads to ultimately futile quests to have everything exactly the way I want it? Long time Blackberry user. Stuck with BB because it was so easy to sync with Outlook which I'm tied to by work. My BB crapped out last night (okay I washed it) and I went out and bought a Sprint Android Motorola Photon Q 4GLTE this morning on a whim. Sales lady says it syncs with Outlook no problem. I'm not seeing how. Do I DTMA or can you explain how I sync my Outlook contacts and calendar to this droid? I love you all.

I am using mail merge to send multiple emails but can't get the person's name in the "To:" box (or field), so it arrives with just their email address in "To." I have to fix this or work all night! If I could just use mail merge to put the "Display As" field, from Contacts, into the "To" box, it would work. But, apparently, I can't do that. Or can I? [more inside]
