I'm having a great deal of trouble receiving my University email in Outlook 2000. My University uses Google Apps, which allows me to use Gmail as my webmail service, but does not assign me a Google or Gmail account. The domain of my email address is myuniversity.edu, not gmail.com. For this reason, Outlook does not recognize the username and password that I use to log into my email (through my university's website). I have tried following gmail's tutorial (complicated by the fact that they don't offer one for Outlook 2000) with no success. I've tried reporting my incoming mail server as both pop.gmail.com and pop.myuniversity.edu. Any ideas? Did I miss any important info?

I use Outlook at work since my company uses Exchange Server. They only give us 35MB of e-mail storage. I would love to use my Gmail account to manage all my e-mail however I would need to have my work e-mail forwarded to my Gmail account. I can access my Exchange account via Exchange or IMAP. Are there any automated ways to redirect incoming mail to anothter address?

I’m hoping that someone can provide me with some email tips, specifically for a Hotmail user.
The main problem I’ve been having is finding a streamlined solution for all of my email accounts. Here’s my current setup/status:
- 1 hotmail account (my main application)
- 2 gmail accounts (used mainly for online sign ups and the like)
- 1 work email account
- 1 account through my ISP (time warner – roadrunner)
- Multiple site accounts at joelneuenhaus.com
- To wrap it all up, I use MS Outlook 2003 (work is accessed directly through an Outlook POP3 setup; my website accounts are forwarded to gmail and gmail is forwarded to hotmail; my ISP account is accessed via POP mail retrieval in Hotmail – a real pain – finally Hotmail is accessed through an Outlook HTML account) [more inside]
