Part of my work involves managing a number of mini projects over time. The number of projects right now is in the low tens. My goal is to track the progression by making a few notes each time something related to the project happens. I want to be able to see where any project is at any given time. I'm an Asian female attending a University. I wanted to run for a leadership position in an organization that consists of 70% Asians. A Caucasian classmate of mine who wants to run for the same position thinks that I'll get elected over him because of the group's demographic. We have our windows 7 computer organized by user, and the folder system is a mess. I want to be able to browse photos, and videos, by one simple criteria, date taken. For example, want to see every picture and video on my PC That was taken on July 19, 2013. I don't want it to be tricked by the save date, the edit date, what folder it's in, or which camera was used. Only the date I snapped the shot. Fantastic would be some kind of timeline that you can very quickly scroll thru and it shows you some kind of date display where you're at.
I want to improve my digital photo organization at work, and I don't care about anything in iPhoto except Events. Unfortunately, I really appreciate being able to visually browse Events as a central database of every photo upload ever. It feels like there's no easy visual browsing in the Adobe suite, is this true?
