I'm shopping for shoes and have a wide foot. Last I looked, Zappos
had the best search option for filtering out shoes that would not fit me. Alas, I live in Canada and apparently Zappos Canada recently stopped business
What are my options in Canada for a good online store that has advanced search options like Zappos? Perhaps my only route is going onto company websites - but the only companies that I know for sure have some sort of width measurement system are: Rockport, Sketchers, New Balance....

The online database tool DabbleDB
is closing up shop this Wednesday. It's a great tool - excellent ui, cloud availability for data entry and access, easy RSS feeds. Any recommendations on another tool that offers the same? I've looked at Zoho and found it inferior in every way.

Attempting to create an online "television" for a massive online course that would rotate through content created by the course participants. Similar idea to betamaxmas
but will probably include static visual content like Flickr feeds as well. Hoping to not have to build this completely from scratch but coming up blank on all searches. Read on for the dirty details [more inside]

I'm looking for a way of structuring an idea database online (a few hundred entries, at most) that will allow several users to add entries, tag them, add commentary and upload files specific to each entry.
What am I looking for here?

My girlfriend handles registrations for swim lessons, and it's a very time-consuming, badly-executed process. I told her that an online implementation of her forms, class rosters, and maybe even payments would simplify the process. Guess who gets to make this happen? (And needs your help to figure out how!)
