A friend of mine has a 15 month old son who was diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma (brain cancer). He had a complete surgical resection of the tumor, and the next step is proton beam therapy. She has her choice between pursuing therapy at MGH in Boston, or in New Jersey at either Procare in Somerset or Robert Wood in New Brunswick. The New Jersey facilities would be more convenient for her and her family, but if the Boston facility is better, she'll make it work. Can you give me any information about how these three facilities compare in terms of both effectiveness of the therapy and patient experience, particularly with very young pediatric patients?

Trying to coordinate help for a friend. She stepped on a nail, doesn't have current Tetanus vax. She needs to have the wound thoroughly cleaned and get a tetanus vax. Just the shot at Walgreen's would be $200 - she needs something cheaper (no insurance).

There is no Ronald McDonald house nearby. Please help us find reasonably priced and safe accommodations for a young single mom and her baby.

My dad tells stories of New York tax collectors hanging out in the parking lots of popular New Jersey malls and Ikeas and the like, writing down NY plates and sending estimated sales tax bills or "reminders" for the voluntary portion of their bill. Is this real or apocryphal?

I am trying to form an improv practice group that will become (I hope) a performance group. I need tips across the board - how do we find rehearsal space for free/cheap, how do we run our practice sessions, how do we make the leap from practice to performance? What other questions am I not even thinking to ask?

I'd like to take my 85-year-old mom to Delaware Water Gap for a picnic on July 4th. Mom has mobility issues (is unsteady on her feet) so our picnic spot and the route to it needs to be as short and flat as possible and preferably paved. But I'd like to get as scenic a picnic spot as I can. Any recommendations?

Move to New Jersey in the future (Princeton), I am looking for jobs but I have some specific interests. I know almost nothing about the area and what is based there. I am aware of its proximity to major cities but I would like to start with recommendations near Princeton and then outward. I really want to work in technology/creative groups.

How do I petition the court to become my little brother's legal guardian in New Jersey? A little background: My mother has a terminal disease, which may also cause her to be mentally incapacitated at some point (thanks in advance for the condolences). My little brother is 15 and lives at home with my mom. My mom has made it clear to myself and people around her that she wants me to become his guardian after she dies. But, I have had little luck figuring out the actual legal process for initiating the process.

I am working in Central Jersey now (near Princeton), and still living in NYC. Want to know if there any acceptable places for a single guy to live in this area. I checked out River Park at Raritan - it looks ok. Looked at Pike Run in Belle Mead, but I read a number of reviews and they were all pretty bad. Tenants were complaining about bedbugs and poor insulation.
Are there any places, preferably on the luxury rental side, that are decent for a single professional to live in the area?
