Lakers coach,
Phil Jackson was just fined by the NBA for talking with the media about a possible lockout next year if the NBA and the players union don't finalize a new CBA. As part of the player's CBA or the ref's CBA they can fine those guys, but on what authority can the NBA as a league fine coaches, assistant coaches, and owners?

There was a player in the NBA who played in the same game for both teams, I think due to the final minutes needing to be replayed on a different date and a trade happening in the meantime. I can't think of the name of the player or teams, and my Google-fu doesn't seem up to the task. Can anybody help?

In 1993, during his rookie season in the NBA, Shaquille O'Neil's weight and strength managed to break and pull down two NBA backboards. The first on national television (NBC if I remember correctly...) on February 7th in Phoenix delaying the game for a half hour. The second time on April 23rd in New Jersey. The best video I can find online for either is an
animated GIF from
here. My Google-Fu has failed helping me find anything better than that. I ask of you MeFi users, please help.
