Besides Lost in America, Easy Rider, Surfwise, and Into the Wild, what other films are about people who make an affirmative decision to live on the road? The closest Wikipedia seems to get is Road Movies, which is not really apt. If not movies, what other cultural works of fiction deal with that kind of decision?

What are some movies featuring moral beauty? I recently showed "Les Miserables" (the movie with Liam Neeson and Uma Thurman) to my boyfriend. I love the movie (as well as the book, of course) because it has moral beauty, and he absolutely loved that aspect, and asked me to show him any more morally beautiful movies. I'm an academic librarian. A faculty member asked me if I knew of any movies in which a character uses medical marijuana, either legally or illegally. I couldn't think of any so I'm asking this buzzing hivemind. Criteria: -fictional (i.e., not documentaries) -take place in the US Of course some might argue that any use of it can be justified as medical, but this faculty member is really looking for movies that show people using it for more obvious medical conditions like glaucoma, MS, etc.
