Is there a simple app out there that will monitor when my Internet connection goes up and down? I've seen dozens of utilities out there that monitor a specific website, but I figure these utilities might just error out if my own connection is down. Besides I should be monitoring 2 or 3 sites rather than just one to get a true measure of whether the Internet is down.

I'm a sysadmin, and I've been asked to check the browsing habits of a particular employee. We don't use a proxy, but all traffic is routed through a PIX firewall. What's the best way/software to do this? [more inside]

Hi
I am looking for a way to monitor a few servers - HTTP, POP, SMTP from the Internet and receive an email when a service goes down. Is there a free service? Or perhaps a simple script. I do not want to install Big Brother.
Thanks!

Download limit question: If I can only download 20gb of data a month, whats the best (free) windows software for measuring and analysing all traffic coming in (and out) of my internet connection? Thanks...

Are there any free services that will monitor a website of your choice, and tell you when it changes?
