Some friends and I - all new to the area - are looking for a good place to camp within a long day's bike ride of Minneapolis, MN (60-100mi). We're hoping for something where we'll see few other people, and preferably access to a lake or river, hiking trails, and general wilderness (or at least the feeling of being away from civilization for a bit), and good to stay for a couple of days. I'm flying to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul airport later this month. My flight arrives around 11 PM, but thanks to an unforeseen scheduling snafu, my ride won't be able to pick me up until early the next morning. I have catastrophic health insurance for the catastrophes. But until I reach that $3000 deductible, I'd really like to pay less than I currently am for checkups and other simple doctors visits. For example, I recently went in for an ear infection. My doctor took a look and prescribed an antibiotic. It took 10m and I got a bill for $200. Not looking for anything too religiously structured, but won't rule it out if you've had good experiences of that sort.
