I'm thinking of getting one of the new desktop Mac Pros recently announced. I'd like to both run Apple's OS X and also use Boot Camp to run 64-bit Windows Vista on it. The question is: will I be able to use the Mac Pro's keyboard and mouse with Vista? Will I be able to use an Apple Cinema Display with Vista?

As part of the contract for my new job, I have to get an MCP.
As I understand it, the MCP is a title given to anyone who has a microsoft certification.
Which is the easiest and fastest certification to get that'll qualify you as an MCP?

A Visual Basic 6 (ugh) runtime file distributed with our internal Access database has been killed by a recent Windows security update. It's hard to gather support information (especially since VB6 is about 8.7 million years old) and so I was wondering if anyone out there can help me track down a more recent copy of the runtime file in question—msflxgrd.ocx—or otherwise fix the problem?

[MS SharePoint Filter] We have a SharePoint subsite that needs to be kinda disabled for a wee bit until our SP guy gets back from vacation and updates some workflows (yay management decision). Specifically, everyone with access needs to be set to Read Only and a message needs to be added to every page ("This site is unavailable because blah blah blah).

When I do Add -> Existing Web Site in Visual Studio 2008, if the existing site was created in an earlier version of .net (say 2.0 and I'm running 3.5) Visual Studio automatically starts an update wizard to convert the site to 3.5. How do I turn off this behavior so that it simply imports the web site without updating it?
I know this is possible because the first time I did this it happened flawlessly, but at the time I didn't un-check the "automatically update sites next time" check box. Gah.

In ms word, in endnotes, there's this little two-inch
line in the upper-left corner to symbolize that you're in "footnote
land," even on the second page of the endnotes and after. It's the
same line that's at the bottom of the page before a footnote. Is
there any way to remove this line? I have a mac, but I think the same issue comes up with PCs. I need to get rid of this line to fulfill the formatting requirements to post my dissertation, so any help would be much appreciated!
