I am interested in speaking with people involved with the underground newspaper
Dragonseed (or
Dragon Seed), published in Baltimore and/or Timonium, MD, around 1972-1973. (No, I am not looking for folks involved with
Dragonseed Harry.) Most of the contributors used only first names or pseudonyms. What would be the best way to get the word out about this? I was thinking about an ad in the
City Paper, but I'm not sure people actually
read ads like that.

I will be seeking a consultation with a real estate lawyer to talk about an issue with my property line which is the side of my house. Unfortunately there is a negative gradient and a lot of water coming onto my property (and into my basement) from the adjoining property. I have an easement for "ingress & egress" on that property. The landowner there has not responded to my repeated requests to correct the negative gradient.

Looking for a rustic wedding venue in the DC/Virginia/MD (and potentially WV) region where the soon-to-be Mrs. Oneironaut and I can take over for the whole weekend, roast whole lambs, have a county fair atmosphere, and have the music and dancing go all night. We want to be able to control the space, have a house and potentially a few cabins available, and be within 30 minutes of a town with hotels. Any leads appreciated! And, this question is

Just moved to Baltimore (working in Columbia), haven't had time to unpack let alone find a new PCP, and wouldn't you know it, i'm sick. Does anyone have any recommendations for a drop-in clinic or urgent care facility in the Laurel-Ellicott City-Columbia area that (a) won't charge ER rates and (b) has decent staff? I found several when I googled, but have no way to evaluate them other than google recommendations. Bonus points if you can ALSO recommend other good practitioners (I need a primary care physician, an endocrinologist and a dermatologist) in that area or the south side of Baltimore for when I have time to set up appointments for initial visits.

At the end of August I heard an author being interviewed on the Baltimore NPR about her book on the history of Maryland. I was in the car and couldn't write down her name or the name of the book, and I can't seem to find it listed on Amazon. Does anyone know what this book might be?
In the part I heard she was talking about Maryland's history as a Catholic/Royalist haven, and the tensions this caused with neighboring Virginia.

I'm in College Park, MD for graduate school. My lease ends in August, and I feel like it's time to start looking for a place. Can you suggest a mover for a (very) small amount of stuff? I have to move to a new apartment in the next 2 weeks, but I have very little stuff : one bedroom's worth of furniture, a sofa, and a folding table with some chairs. I only have 2 boxes of books. I called some moving companies, but the smallest load they will take is still way more than I have. I live in the Maryland suburbs of DC. Thanks.

I'm looking for a place to hold a company picnic roughly midway between Baltimore city and Prince George's County. We're looking for a park or other outdoor space that could accommodate around 100 people and permits the serving of alcohol.
