I need to evaluate a website design and I remember seeing an online service that allows you to markup a website with comments ontop of the design but my Google searching abilities are failing me. Thought I seen it on lifehacker.com or other similar site. [more inside]

I own with my partner a transcription service for film and TV production companies in Ontario. Recently, a company asked us to do something I consider slightly shady, and I'd like some opinions about what to do. [more inside]

I do my best to not print out PDF documents and I realized that I could reduce my printing to almost zero if I had a PDF reader that would let me hilite and save hilites and add my own notes. Acrobat Reader doesn't seem to do this.
What readers can do this? I prefer linux or MacOSX but I do have a laptop that can boot Windows.

I remember seeing something, somewhere, that allowed non HTML savvy people to add a basic markup to text. This text is then parsed into valid HMTL by a javascript or PHP (perhaps) script. I can't refind it. Can you?

CMSFilter: After hearing about Dean Allen's TextPattern on and off for the longest time without being able to actually try it, it's now available in what he calls a "gamma" version that he's been updating and bugfixing for the last week. Is it worth the time to check out or not, or not yet? And what's so special (or not or not yet) about this particular pile of code?

Is there any central authority or archive for XML DTDs and Schemas? I am thinking of developing an *ML, and would like to know if similar work has already been done, if there are any naming conventions, etc.
