Why does my Macbook keep crashing?

I have a 1 year old macbook which keeps freezing for no apparent reason. When it happens a message appears saying I have to restart the computer by holding down the power button. It started happening after I set up a 3G internet connection but I guess that's probably a coincidence. I can't think of anything else that could have caused it. Any ideas?

Is my power supply dead?

I just noticed that my Macbook's battery is running down even though the power supply is plugged in. Do I need a new power supply or could it be something I can fix?

Why is my Photoshop so slow?

I have Photoshop CS3 on a fairly new Macbook and for the last few days it's been running unbearably slowly (it takes around 3 minutes just to save a file). Everything else on the Mac seems to be working fine including Illustrator and Indesign so it must be a problem with Photoshop specifically. I tried reinstalling it but it had no effect, now I'm out of ideas.
