I'm just curious, but if I install something like
this, would it invalidate my (purchased separately) AppleCare on a year-old MacBook Pro?

I just purchased a Viewsonic VA2702w 27" LCD monitor, which I am connecting to a 13" 2011 Macbook Pro running Lion. I think I need a little help calibrating it.

I need to buy a new battery for a 2006 white Macbook, and I am afraid of buying a knock-off that will explode, burn down my house, and kill me and my family. Where is a good, reputable, place to buy a new battery?

I recently bought a new Macbook Pro (2.3 i5) and almost immediately put 8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM in it. Almost immediately, I got a kernel panic, and then Chrome would crash every once in a while. I have also had occasional crashes of Pages, MailPlane, and BusyCal, but no more panics. It has been about a week or so since I installed the RAM. Do you think I have a bad memory stick, or is this occasional crashiness related to something else?

How can I make the topcase (wrist area) of my 2006 white Macbook stop cracking? I have had Apple replace this part twice, and it has cracked yet again. There is a way for me to solve this problem. I know there is.

I have an appointment to see the Mac Geniuses tomorrow regarding my Macbook's screen, which looks rather dim. However, I'm not sure if I'm asking too much, since I know the older displays dim over time. I have some photos inside comparing my Macbook to an almost identical model that is one year older than mine. Could you take a look at these pics and let me know what my chances are of getting a repair?

I used some clear adhesive wrist protectors on my white MacBook, and after removing them, all of the adhesive is stuck on my Mac's wrist rest. What is the safest way to clean the gunk off? Goo Gone? iKlear? Something else?
