I purchased a 2012 Ford Focus and it has been having performance issues that the dealer doesn't want try and fix. Should I risk aggravating the dealer and try to activate Ohio's lemon law or seek some other form of recourse?

My car is wrecked. What should I do? My car was damaged in a complex situation. I was at work and my car was parked in my employer's parking lot. A car driven by an impaired driver hit our neighbor's car which was spun into my car.

I have a friend that is having some trouble with a car he purchased and he's trying to figure out what could be the best outcome in this situation. Basically, it looks like his odometer may have been tampered with and has been making far more repairs to this car than seems reasonable. He contacted the AG and they're willing to take the case but he's not sure if that's best.
I don't have all of the finer details, but the gist of it is inside. He said there were other smaller repairs, but these are the main ones. Also, I'm trying to keep it a little vague just for anonymity's sake, but I can provide details if necessary.

The state DMV won't let me renew my registration on my current car because I owe property taxes on the old car. Is that legal? Can the state refuse to help me comply with one law if I am potentially violating another one?

I've got a vehicle whose title is in the process of being transferred to me. I've got to do the reregistration by mail from Oregon to California. I've had an offer on the vehicle. The potential purchasers say a bill of sale and them putting the vehicle on their insurance is sufficient to let them drive legally. They also mentioned a temporary registration, which I've never heard of. Is this a bad idea, or a practical one to get the car sold now.

So I was crossing the street right after work in the crosswalk, on a green walk sign. A cab was making a left turn, ran into me, knocked me down, and then ran over my foot! The worst part was that he stopped ON TOP OF MY FOOT, wth?! So he gets out of the car to check on me and i'm on the ground screaming bloody murder- BACK THE F OFF MY FOOT- pretty funny when i re-tell it now since miraculously (doctor's words) I was spared from any major injury!

This september I was given a car by a friend of mine who was moving out of state (the car and I are in Ohio). We both signed the title and thought we had done everything right, but we did not realize that we had to sign the document in front of a notary or have it notarized to complete the transfer. I live in chicago and got my car towed last night (on Division bet. western and california). The reason is because there is no parking on the street when snow is two inches or more (from 3am to 7am). It has not snowed since wednesday and there was no snow in the street when I parked there, nor did it snow during the evening. I paid the fee to get my car out and I have scheduled a hearing for 2/23/07.
Has anyone successfully gotten their money back? Am I in the wrong? I would appreciate any advice I can get going into this hearing.
