Why does my LG BD560 Blu-Ray player play DVDs but refuses to play Blu-Ray discs? Any possible solutions?

I just bought an
LG Cosmos 2 VN251 phone, and I want to figure out how to export my texts, call history, etc. off the phone and onto my iMac. I was able to do this with my previous phone, an LG-VX9900, via the bluetooth connection using
BitPim—but BitPim doesn't seem to recognize this model, and my text inbox is getting full pretty quickly!

What will happen to my washer/dryer if I shut the water off during the dry cycle? Or would turning it to a trickle be a smarter, equally effective idea...? I'm trying to shrink some clothes, but it steams so effectively that I'm getting nowhere. So frustrating as they come out seriously hot. Without the steam they would've been done in 10 minutes tops, but maybe without steam... X-s ?? It's an LG WD-1412RD

I have had an LG cu320 phone for about 1.5 years, so it's out of warranty and I stupidly (or arrogantly) did not get insurance for the phone. Now an internal part is broken which has rendered the screen completely white and LG won't send me (the customer) the part and can only suggest I send it to them to repair, which would cost a *minimum* of $35.

My LG PM-225 phone now loops the Sprint logo (the one you usually see when turning the phone on) after a Bitpim sync apparently went wrong. Is there anyway to reset the phone / reinstall the software (is that what went wrong?) without informing Sprint or buying a new phone? Thanks much.

Cell phone question. Got an LG from Verizon -- but I suck at typing on phones, and the thought of entering the umpteen dozens of contacts I have has scared me from entering all but a few.
When I was on T-Mobile, you could add contacts online. Is there any quick and easy way for me to do something like this? I just want to type them, since it would take me six and a half years to enter them manually.
