Can You Help Me Find Korean Edition Ebooks?

I live in Korea, but I'm finding it difficult to obtain Korean edition ebooks through Yes24, Aladdin, Kyobo, or even Google Play, because I have a US credit card. Does anyone know of other, hassle-free sources? Thanks in advance.

How can I use my new Korean 220v rice cooker in the US?

I just returned (to the US) from a trip to Korea, where I was given a really nice gift: a fancy Cuckoo Induction Heating Korean rice cooker just like this one. That page is in Korean, but the technical details are universal: 220V/60Hz, 3.7A, 824W. What jiggery-pokery will I need to do to make awesome rice here in the States? [more inside]

Please Recommend Books on North Korea

Please share your recommendations on books about North Korea. I have seen this question from 2007 but I'd like books about history and culture as well as modern day North Korea. Fiction recommendations are also welcome. I have already read and enjoyed Nothing to Envy by Barbara Demick. My only request is that they're available as an eBook - preferably as an ePub.

Good experience with cheap menswear by buying from China or Korea?

I've decided that I want to buy new, "smart" and/or "fashion-forward" clothes, and in my travels through sites like Pinterest I've discovered the phenomenon of the online Far-East retailer (sites like theleesshop.com and top-dresses.com). Specifically for menswear, has anyone bought from places like this, and how have the results been? Buying a nice-looking coat for $22 plus shipping almost seems too good to be true, but I'm sure that's still profitable for the manufacturer and saves on all the uplift that gets added by the retail universe (and western world in general).

Recommendations for a Korean stock broker.

Asking for a friend: I'm in the U.S. and require the services of a stock broker licensed in Korea who speaks English and has experience handling U.S. clients. I'm looking for any referrals to firms or individuals who work with well known firms. Feel free to MeFi Mail me if you'd rather not post publicly. Bonus question: For circumstances beyond my control I need to take direct ownership of an interest I have in what will become a publicly traded Korean company. I plan to speak to my tax adviser, but are there any particular considerations I need to be aware of in obtaining and holding this investment? My understanding is that I need a licensed broker to take custody for me. I also understand that South Korea is a relatively friendly place for U.S. foreign investment. Thanks!

Help me find this K-POP / J-POP video I vaguely remember seeing!

I really want to share this video I saw a while ago with a friend, for injoke purposes. But I dunno how to find it! Help! I believe it to be either Korean or Japanese pop music. I have little to no memory of the actual song, just the video. 3, maybe 4 East-Asian ladies. Strolling along a sidewalk, holding shopping bags, walking past upscale store windows. The sidewalk moves underneath them, kind of like an omnidirectional conveyor belt. I can remember no other details, really. Other than it was filmed in a studio (obviously), yet gives the impression of being filmed outside via lighting, and there were a lot of pastel shades going on. Oh, and the women are wearing heels. I Need My Korean Birth Certificate

How can I get a copy of my South Korean birth certificate? I was born in Seoul, became a naturalized US citizen as a child. My parents never had a copy (it was apparently lost). I live in New Mexico and don't believe there is any Korean embassy near here. What can I do?
