I need to glue together a plastic joystick that snapped at the base. Joystick will be moved and twisted, and supports force feedback. Most "crazy" glues don't hold up to such activity, in my experience.
Brand suggestions?

I'm on a retro gaming binge, actively hoarding games from simpler times, mainly through emulation (C64, Amiga, MAME mostly). I'm looking for a couple of good old-style digital joysticks for the perfect experience. Suggestions? [more inside]

I'm looking for a very simple USB gamepad. It should have a d-pad, no analog sticks, and as few action buttons as possible, ideally only two. Current trends in gamepads are packing them ever-tighter with buttons, so I despair of finding a gamepad with less than 8 buttons and triggers. Any ideas? [more inside]

I've just aquired a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro for $1.50 US at a thrift store. It works and Windows grabbed the right drivers for it. 1) What good games are there that take advantage of the "3D" controls? 2) How do I make it work in Descent 3? I can only get the POV hat and various buttons to work - the joystick/twist portion does nothing. I'm probably being clueless as to how to configure it in Descent 3.

I'm building a video game emulation machine. What would be the best USB gamepad I could buy that would work with Linux? I don't have anything newer than Genesis/SNES games, so it only really needs six face buttons and two shoulder buttons. I really (really) liked the Xbox 360 controllers when I tried them at E3, but I don't want to wait until they're available. I also like the X-Arcade, but I don't think I could excuse the pricetag.
