A year or two ago there was a news story about Israel awarding medals to several agents of their government for acts of terrorism against Egypt and the United States (in the 70s I think). Formerly they had been denounced by the Israelis as "rogue" agents or some such. Anyone have a link to the story?

Does anyone know of a restaurant (in Israel, I believe), where people act as if they are eating, the waiters as if they are serving, the ambience is set up as if it were a real restaurant, and there is a real tab -- but there is neither real food nor beverage to be found anywhere?

I am trying to track down a distributor for the Israeli film "Checkpoint Machssomim." I'm working with the SF Arab Film Festival this year and we may be interested in screening it. I need to contact a distributor who can send me a preview copy. I've emailed every Google hit for the film and director name. Anyone know a better way to find a film distributor?
