I have a web site using Wordpress and I'm trying to figure out a css problem with IE. The first thing I'm doing is creating a seperate IE stylesheet. I've followed all the instructions found in the Wordpress forums but can't seem to get IE to pick up the new stylesheet. (I've already asked this question there but haven't gotten back anything that worked.)
Here's what I've added to my header.php *below* the call to the regular style.css:
Here's my code:
<!--[if IE]>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/style-ie.css" type="text/css" />
<![endif]-->
I know that IE is picking up the if-then, because I added a random text string in there and IE showed it. The way I'm testing whether or not IE is getting the style-ie.css sheet is by changing the color of the menu bar from orange (non-IE) to white (IE). I've also tried hardcoding the path to the other css sheet and that didn't help.
I'm at my wits end. What am I doing wrong?

When using IE 6 or 7 and printing a page from the same website using two different computers, but the same printer, one prints at half a page length and one prints the desired full page. The print preview for each matches the way each prints. I can't figure this out for the life of me. Anyone?

My brother has an older Win98 machine on dialup. Recently, I had to clean it of viruses, and now internet explorer does not work. It goes to about:blank but as soon as you try any other address explorer crashes, saying that there is an exception in urlmon and that explorer will now close due to an internal error. The computer is second hand without any driver disks, so formatting is not really an option. Has anyone else encountered this or know how to fix it?

In setting up access to my cable internet the cable company's set-up CD installed Internet Explorer by "so-and-so." I hate this. I know (assume, I guess) it was created with Microsoft's Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK). I also know you can't really uninstall IE, but is it possible to uninstall these IEAK customizations? A free "IE-cleaner" download or step by step clean-up instructions would be great!
