What I suspect is a fairly stupid javascript question, but one I haven't found an ideal solution for. I four menus made out of unordered lists. I'm using a modified version of the suckerfish dropdown script to make it work in IE (code inside), in one place I want 1 of the four menus to stay open except when I hover on one of the remaining menus. i.e. menu1 is visible. when I mouseover menu2, menu1 is hidden. When I mouseout of menu2 menu1 reappears. [more inside]

IE Lists and Floats
I've been playing around with lists and have run up against what I believe is one of IEs box model bugs. Every workaround I know of is useless. I've created a simplified example of what I am doing that contains only what is needed to get the lists to style properly in a standards compliant browser. In the actual layout they are contained in a center column. If you view this in Firefox or Mozilla and then in IE 6 you'll see the problem. Example Can anyone figure out what is going on here?

CSS question. Usually, I can figure these things out. This one has me stumped. I know its a box model problem, but none of the usual fixes seem to fix it. Everything looks right in Mozilla, Firefox, and Opera. Bigger, better explanation inside, along with some code. [more inside]

Firebirdfox question. I've been trying to find a browser I like, and after playing with Opera, Mozilla, and Firebird, I settled on firefox. Now I can't figure out how to make it feel familiar, the way IE does. For starters, I would really like my bookmarks to sort the same way, directories listed first a-->z, followed by links stored in the top level also sorted a-->z. It doesn't appear to care if an imported bookmark is a directory or an actual link, and it really annoys me. [more inside]

For some reason bullets are no longer being displayed as they're supposed to, black dots. Instead they look like some arabic character. [screen grab inside]
