After sorting through a castle of boxes, I discovered hundreds and hundreds of loose photographs. The photographs vary in size from
3 x 5 to 8 x 10 and even a few 10 x13's. I have many albums, and they are full. I have several photograph boxes, also full. I would like to display as many as I can without being obnoxious but I'm looking for fresh ideas. What are some interesting, space saving artistic ways I can use and display my sea of memories?

I'm slow. It took me many years to have this revelation re: home organization: "If an object is not frequently used and is not decorative, it should be put away" (unless, of course, you have incredibly little storage space).
So what's the next revelation? Or some corollaries of this one which might flesh out this basic idea?

I want to mount narrow shelves at the back of my kitchen counters, along the top of the backsplash. I have not been able to find anything suitable to match the dark decor.
I have black laminate counters with dark cherry-finish wood cabinets. All the hardware in our house is oil-rubbed bronze.

We are in the midst of a kitchen renovation project, and our cabinets arrived. We ordered victorian white, which looked off white in the showroom, but now that it's in our kitchen the cabinets have a pinkish hue. Pink was not what we were looking for. We're doing absolute black honed granite counter tops, and are trying to decide on what color to paint the room and ideas for the backsplash. Here's a link to a
picture of the cabinets.
The question: how can we subdue, or neutralize the pinkish hue?
