Do you love your doctor? I'm looking for a new general practitioner. In the past I have had best experience with doctors who use integrative or holistic to describe their approach -- though I recognize that those terms mean different things to different people. Bottom line is that I want someone who isn't going to throw pills at me right off the bat. Thanks!

We are lucky enough to have a Grandpa who is 84 years old. He just had a consult with his urologist and has elevated PSA and prostate biopsy positive for cancerous cells ( that is the phrase that keeps being repeated) .

Any Philly MeFites know of a local holistic pediatrician or family practitioner? Definitely looking for someone with an MD (rather than a chiropractor), within 50 miles or so of the city. Nearby NJ and DE are okay as well.

I just moved into a new apartment just south of Tokyo. The mold is terrible, I cleaned, dehumidified, ect. I can't move, can't exactly explain the problem. If I simply give up on the mold itself, what can I do for me? Benadril, any holistic ideas, ?? any one else have these mold problems?

Does anyone have experience with schools that offer holistic/alternative health degrees? I'd like to begin taking a few courses, but am not sure where to begin. I'm looking at Distance Learning for now as I would be unable to relocate for at least a year. I've researched and found many schools that offer these courses, but if anyone has any insider information or advice on reputable places, I'd be grateful.
