I feel like I have been constantly tired for the past 2 or so months. I am tired from the moment I wake up until I go to bed at night and often have trouble keeping my eyes open during the day. I also suffer terribly from headaches and general neck and shoulder stiffness which adds to the fatigued feeling. I have been to the doctor and everything appears to be normal including iron levels, and also I'm not depressed. I am feeling quite stressed in my life though, I don’t enjoy my work and I have an 8 year old daughter and a partner who travels a lot for work. I’m looking for a new job but these things take time and I haven’t seen anything that takes my fancy yet. Also it’s coming up the anniversary of the death of a loved one so I wonder if that’s having an effect. I know I need to get more exercise but I am not sure what I should/could be doing and I’m so exhausted its tiring just thinking about it. I eat relatively well and make/eat a lot of home cooked meals. I’m hoping for some ideas on how I can beat this tiredness and find some motivation and energy in my life. I’d also love to beat these awful headaches. Please help me wake up!

This year I made a resolution for healthier living and have been successful so far. Overcame a lot of bad habits compared to where I started. But I'm going on a cruise with a group of friends next month. From what I've been told it's going to be an around the clock buffet. I'm planning on using the gym but don't know how to deal with all of the food. I'm not going to be on the alcoholic drinks package and figure I can enjoy dinner that way. Breakfast and lunch are a free for all though. Any ideas for what my best options would be so I don't gain 15 by the end of the week.

I'm a dad and my oldest - now a pre-teen, who this year started at high school - is always tired and hates exercise. She was very active when she was younger but pressures of long school hours and homework have squeezed all that out of the calendar. Plus of course she's the age when children's bodies dramatically change size and shape and that's perfectly normal.
Given all that, what's the best way I can help her to stay as fit and healthy as possible? What has helped for your kids?

Need a website or book that has daily workout routines. What I'd like is one that has a time for cardio and then a daily focus on arms, legs, or core, etc. Sort of like you'd get from a trainer but something you can do at home. We have an elliptical, awesome weight bench, and other assorted exercise equipment. Suggestions? (Woman, btw). I'd love it if it somehow tied into the BodyMedia Fit or Spark People, but it doesn't have to.

Now that
WeEndure is going away, I need somewhere to track my exercise. There are a number of places that have biking and running, but not swimming. I'd prefer simpler to the more complex sites like MapMyRun (which, again, doesn't do swimming, from what I can see). I have seen
this and wondered what things are out there, four years later. Bonus: a place that I can dump all my WeEndure data into so I hit the ground running.

I'm a girl looking to build strength, burn fat, and tone up. I prefer to work out at home, where I have a yoga mat, a stability ball, 6lb dumbbells, a doorframe pull-up bar, and full 5 gal / 19 Liter water-cooler bottles. I also have a road bicycle and know how to swim. Using the above, what are some of your favorite exercises that I can do for balanced fitness on the whole body?

Is it worth my time/energy to complain to my hospital about negative interactions with a Dr. 18 months ago? I had complained several times previously to the Dr's office with no response, but new information has come to light that makes me even more irritated, since I found a document they gave me that misstates my height by 10 inches (4'11" instead of 5'9"), putting my BMI at 32, which explains why she lectured me on being fat.

When we first met, my boyfriend was overweight and drank too much (by his own account). Four months into our relationship, he's changed quite a bit: he goes running, eats healthier, and drinks way less. He says I make him want to be healthier -- which is great. But I'm worried that this is just new-relationship energy, and that he'll slide back into old patterns once we're more used to each other.

I'm looking for novels where the protagonist loses weight / gets fit. This doesn't need to be the central thing in the book, but while the protagonist saves the world from the zombie apocalypse, finds true love or destroys the ring in the fires of Mordor, can s/he also get in shape?

I'm looking for a simple iPhone app: I want to start exercising for 30 mins./day most days of the week, but I may not always get in the 30 mins. at once. (Apparently, it
doesn't matter.) I want an app that tracks my daily minutes of exercise (e.g., 10 mins. here, 10 mins. there) and tells me how much more I have at that moment till I get to my 30-minute daily target. It'd also be nice if it told me my weekly minutes up to that point. I track my food in another app, so I don't need it to track calories.

I just signed up for a 5K on Dec. 3. I'm certainly not ready to RUN 3.1 miles, so I'm going to walk it (and the event is called a run/walk, so it is a walker-friendly race, at least). What kind of training can I do before then to do my best that day, since there's barely any time left? I'm at a healthy weight and in OK shape but usually only exercise one or two times a week. I'd like my time to be under one hour, if possible. Tips? (Bonus question: are most 5Ks walker-friendly?)

It's actually very cute - black, sparkly - and is flattering on me in every way except that, well, it's short. And I have fat, pale legs. I'll be wearing nude high heels, but besides that, how can I make my lump gams appear nicer? Quick-fix exercises? Spray tans? Tights/stockings are not an option.
