HTML/DOM/JavaScriptfilter: Help me get a handle on my frames! I'm by no means a javascript expert, though I can bash my way around in it when necessary - but I just can't figure out how to get a handle on the frames in my document via the DOM.

Three drupal questions
1. I disabled the log in form on the main page, now how do I get to the admin panel?
(Please note, I have a local install of drupal, php, MySQL and Apache for Dev purposes.)
2. How can I create drop down menus?
3. Is there a way I can change the layout for a certain page? Such as I want the main page to be two columns while others to be one with tables or something to that effect for grid data. How can I do this?

I would like to make a CD/DVD of family photographs in a format which could be read by standard web browsers. This would enable me to link the photographs to text, scans of birth certificates etc. just as one does on a web page. [This is a Windows computer and I can (re)learn HTML if necessary.]
If this is a rational thought could somebody please point me towards appropriate software?

I'm starting up a business that revolves around my artistic and digital editing skills, but I'm totally clueless about web design and programming.
I want something that looks fairly professional but in that kind of haphazard, artsy way. A lot of artists' online portfolios have a lot of white space and are very stripped down, almost with this kind of collage look. That's what I'm going for.
How do I find a designer? I can't spend more than a few hundred bucks because I'm still a poor student, but I want somebody talented who knows what they're doing.

I am having a disagreement with a co-web developer I'm working with. He's insisting that having image width and height specified for images in the image tags is going to make an enormous difference in how fast this database driven site will render, while I feel that having the height and width called in the css for these images is enough. The site is very fast.

I want to take an Excel spreadsheet and just make it a dynamically sortable table I can put in a webpage or blog. I want people to be able to click a column, and have the table be sorted by that column. Best solutions? Also, if the table included locations, is it possible to make them selectable, and have the selected locations display on Google maps? Thanks.

[ Flash Filter ] Ok. So after
sketching out my client's site, they have informed me that they want the white cross (with the blue gradient) to basically fade, from the outside in to the center, and perhaps have a little sparkle and 'ding' noise as the animation completes. As far as I can come up with, flash is the only way this is going to happen. My question is, how am I going to make this work?
