I occasionally contribute tutorials to open source projects and I'm looking for a standard Web page template I can use for these. Although I know HTML/CSS and could write one from scratch, I'd rather spend that time writing more (or better) documentation for the projects. Do you know of any simple, nice looking, open source templates I could use?

Are there any good resources for explaining how to turn an existing (simple) website design into a template for Blogger? I just want my blog to look like the rest of my website!

I want to find a fairly easy-to-adapt template from which to do multiple site searching with a single term. My technical abilities are, let's say,

What HTML code do I need to add to my Blogger blog template to automatically underline all the links I make in a blog posting? I can get the links to show up in the correct colour, but that colour is quite close to black, so I'd like the text to be highlighted another way, one that is expected when linking.
I do not want to change the colours.
I'm pretty thick when it comes to HTML, so I'd really appreciate it if you were quite explicit when saying where it has to be.
The blog is linked to in my profile, if you need to see the page source.

HTML/CSS: Damn it Jim! I'm an architect of buildings, not of the web! I've been working on the web site for our chapter of the
AIA in Europe. I've been trying to learn as much as I can about HTML and CSS -- looking, reading, trial and error. Our new site is coming along but I have one vexing problem. On the front pages of two directories, some browsers exhibit three odd characters at the upper left hand corner of the page: . Links are inside...
