H1N1 vaccine in NYC question. I'm looking to getting vaccinated for H1N1. I don't have a personal physician and none of the drug stores seem to have it (I was asked to call back in 2010) and I don't qualify for the free nyc clinics. Where else can I look?

There's no special place to turn up if you think you've got the swine flu to be tested or otherwise counted--hospitals and clinics tell people to just stay home unless they are having actual health complications. How is the CDC able to say that
22 million people have been infected with H1N1 when if you don't have to be hospitalized, nobody will even test you for it?

I'm sick and I'm trying to figure out if it is a cold or flu. The symptom that I would like help diagnosing is pain. I am experiencing muscle pain, but it is similar to non-flu pain I have had in the past. Does flu pain tend to manifest itself similar to pains that your body has had otherwise?

H1N1: I have a health condition that makes me a priority patient for the H1N1 vaccine. My county is currently only offering the vaccine to children and pregnant women. However, I live right on the border between two states, and the adjacent county in the next state is offering it to all high risk groups. Can I get it there? Is there a residency requirement? Will they ask me for identification?

Odds are that the flu I've had since Friday is H1N1: a Canadian government tracking site says that 97% of diagnosed cases of flu here right now are H1N1. Does this increase or decrease my need for an H1N1 shot when they become available?

I was diagnosed with type-A influenza with a "high possibility" of it being H1N1 on Monday. I have been holed up in my apartment since then, taking the Tamiflu the doctor gave me. But it's making me feel worse - after I take it, I become dizzy, headachey, and nauseated. Can I stop taking it, or should I finish up the pills I've been given now that I've already started on it? YANAD, YANMD (and my doctor only speaks Japanese).

Swine flu vaccine question: If I've gotten the seasonal flu vaccine in the past without any complications, does this mean that I don't have to worry about the "Guillain-Barre syndrome" that hit people in 1976? Or will the H1N1 vaccine be formulated differently that the seasonal flu vaccine? This question is prompted by this article...
