Can you suggest suitable soundtrack music to accompany a Google Earth flyover created from helicopter GPS data? The terrain is dramatically mountainous for the most part. (Or conversely, what would be amusingly inappropriate?)

A friend and I are trawling Google Earth in a bar, under the assumption that of all the acoustic mirrors left in the world, no-one has yet identified (on the internet, anyway) the one in Malta. It is supposed to lie north-east of Naxxar, but not entirely sure that this is reliable information. Any ideas for where we could possibly find lat/long co-ordinates or a flat out Google Earth placemark?

Google Earth 4.3 added a new feature called Sunlight where one can simulate the lightning on different parts of the world depending on the local time. As you know, the amount of lightning depends a lot on the date (sun is "higher" during Summer and much "lower" during Winter). The thing is I can't find any way to change the date in the Google Earth interface. As a workaround I can change my computer clock date, and this does have an effect, but I was wondering if anybody managed to get this done directly within Google Earth.

What are the chances of me being able to use some Google Earth images in a self-published military history book? We're talking small peanuts black & white images, non high-res, of some military locations in Asia. I expect no more than 100-200 book copies in circulation. [more inside]

My son (nine) came across this unnamed, triangular island with airstrips and buildings using google earth. It's quite small, and almost artificial looking, like a built-up atoll. We're pretty sure they've got aliens there. KML file enclosed. [more inside]

I grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut. But when I try to view the town in Google Earth, the whole town is fuzzed out. Why? The Bush dynasty has long been resident in the town, and presumably some of them still live there, but ... the whole town obscured?
