My friend is getting married this week, yay! I didn't get her a present originally because it's a destination wedding, but I've changed my mind and really want to get her and her hubby something nice that would be an "experience" (like a night out or something). What London-based thing (i.e. gift cert to a hip restaurant) can I get her? Needs to be something I can buy online, as I'm not in London. [more inside]
My brother has to go to London on short notice, and his trip promises to be a long and stressful one. I'd like to give him a going-away present, but not clutter or something to haul around. He already has an Oyster card, which was my first thought. What else might be nice to have if you suddenly found yourself in London and in a rush?
My girlfriend is graduating university and she's heading to London for a well-deserved holiday later this month. I'm looking for a great gift idea of a fabulous experience that she can have while there! [more inside]
I took us indoor skydiving for his 39th birthday and now I am completely stumped as to what I give him for his 40th, and was hoping for suggestions to make the Big Day (31 Jan) special. [more inside]
When we were in London we saw a fun craft-toy called Sticker Scratcherz at both Hamleys and Harrods. We figured we'd find something like it elsewhere as well, but haven't had any luck, so I'm hoping maybe a mefite knows of something else like this. Preferably, it would be not as expensive, for a bit less content (if it were half price for half the amount of stickers it would make a great casual gift). [more inside]
My best friend - the loveliest, dearest, most wonderful of friends - is getting married in London and I can't be there. What can I send for her to open on her wedding day to let her know that I am there with her in spirit? [more inside]
In a few days I will be staying with friend's family in western France, at a house they own. I will be in the UK the next few days. Normally I would bring wine or chocolates as a thank you for the accommodation, but France does these much better and cheaper than the UK (I am told). I am Canadian. What could I bring that would still be a great gift, that I could find in London? It should be something like food or drink, and something of benefit to people on vacation. Price about $50. The friends I am visiting are French/Canadian and appreciate quality/luxury
My girlfriend is studying abroad in London for the fall, and our 3 month is coming up soon. I wanted to give her a gift (no more than $40ish because we put a limit on them) that was relevant but not too personal/emotional because I'll be getting her some nice jewelry as a momento for our 4th month - which is right before she leaves. My husband and I are going to Paris this weekend to meet up with my very good friend who just got married Sunday. (Yes it is their honeymoon, no we're not crashing it just meeting up with them for a day) I'd like to give them some sort of wedding gift, what can we get/do for them? [more inside]
Dear me, I'm from the colonies and have no idea. Elegant, interesting, London-based giftcard (or somesuch) for an online friend's wedding. Suggestions? [more inside]

I live in London. My housemate will be baptised a Catholic on Saturday. I'd like to get him an appropriate gift, but am too much of a useless heathen to know where to start. [more inside]
What would you put in a London survival pack? I'm putting together a shoe-box sized survival pack to give to a newcomer to London. [more inside]
My sister-in-law-to-be will be in London for one month studying this summer. Any ideas for an appropriate gift as I wish her a fun trip? She's been very helpful as Maid of Honor and just a wonderful friend/sister and I want to get her something. She's a girly-girl from NYC. Thanks.
As a Father's Day gift, I'm looking to arrange for a couple of green fees at a London (UK) area golf course. Any suggestions? [more inside]
