Is there such a thing as a "luxury" or "elegant" snuggie/slanket? If so, where can I buy it? I want to buy one for my grandmother but she will not appreciate bright colors, NFL logos, smiley faces, or similar.

Silver Pandora bracelets for teen nieces: Great idea, or old fogie fail? The girls are 14 and 16, in the US. Would this be something cool for them, or is there a new hotness along these lines that would more appreciated? (I'm working from thousands of miles, a different continent – and quite a few decades – away!)

I'd like to loan someone some money (a few thousand dollars). A friend needs it to finish school, and they don't have any good, low-interest options. I don't mind losing the money and forgiving the loan if they fall into hardship, but it would be a financial blow that I want to avoid; making it a straight up gift from the getgo is not appealing.
Is it possible to have a bank or credit union draw up the loan and service it for a flat fee? Any other ways to make the whole thing impersonal, legal, and low-hassle for me, while keeping it forgiveable at my discretion without impacting my friend's credit?

Secret Santa help: My work does Secret Santa every year (small group of 8 people). The limit is $25 I have no time during normal business hours so I have to be able to pick this up before 10am or after 8pm before Thursday the 23rd. My co-worker likes musicals, Firefly, and is gluten free. Thoughts? I'm local to NYC.
