Did Marx come to disavow aspects his earlier writings, i.e. The German Ideology?

Is anyone aware of the specific elements of The German Ideology that the later Marx is said to have disavowed or been unproud of? I understand that Marx's economic understanding was developed far beyond what it was at the time of this writing due to his research on the matter, but I'm concerned about if Marx came to feel any different on the historical materialism expressed within his earlier works? I could've sworn I had saw one reference that reflected how Marx felt about his early work (specifically, The German Ideology) but I can't find it now, and I know that I couldn't trace that observation into any sort of specific elements that Marx came to disavow.

Of all the German days of the week, why did Wednesday get a censored name?

Why is only one of the German days of the week Bowdlerized? Every day (Donnerstag, Samstag, Freitag, etc) is a reference to the old pagan religions, but for some reason Wodenstag got the axe, and is now the bland "Mittwochs." I suspect it's Christian influences, but if so, why did Freya and Thor escape censorship?

What did the Nazis call the French Resistance?

What did the Nazis call the French Resistance? I know they called the individual resisters "terrorists," but what word did they use to describe the resistance as a whole? (Insurgency, resistance, uprising, rebellion, etc.) This is research for a screenplay - I'm not looking for a discussion about modern parallels, or of what the morally correct word is in various situations. Also, if someone could give me the word in German that would be great! Please no guessing.
