It's the kind of J-pop you could really sumo wrestle to.

Which Japanese band / song is used in this video? They're very New Order'y, and I know the missus would like them a lot. Extra credit: Is there a pattern / design / instructions out there for making and playing with paper doll sumo wrestlers like this? Because, frankly, this has Rock'em Sock'em Robots beat all to hell.

IOS RPG FTW!

I want some immersive, RPG-style games for Android or iOS. I'm taking a long flight on Friday and I want to sink myself into something fun. I was really hoping Baldur's Gate would be out for iPad before my flight, but it looks like it's been pushed back to next week. I'd like something in the same vein. Preferably something without cutesy, cartoony or 8-bit style graphics.

Examples of timelines in movies and other pop culture?

I'm looking for examples of visual timelines in movies, video games, or fiction. Scenes where a span of time is represented metaphorically, preferably as a physical object, diagram, or action. A good example is this scene from Me and You and Everyone We Know in which two characters use a street as a visual metaphor for their potential relationship. [more inside]

Games that I can play over Skype with my blind friend?

I'm looking for video games that I could read aloud and describe as I play so that one of my friends who is blind could participate. We would be doing this over Skype. Ideally, we'd like games with multiple choices and decisions that affect the gameplay or story, less linear games and fairly complicated gameplay. We wouldn't want anything in real time, anything that requires coordination or games where the visuals are essential. [more inside]

I like to watch Starcraft II games, what other games should I be following, and how do I get up to speed?

I've begun to watch eSports recently (basically, competitive video game matches), and found them really interesting. For Starcraft II, I have learned how enjoy being a spectator, but it took a lot of effort: I had to play the game, gradually figure out who was worth watching, identify the right YouTube channels, learn the lingo, etc. What other competitive mutliplayer games are worth watching, and how do I get into them?
