When I was growing up, my family and I played a card game we called Bid Bridge. I've tried looking online to find out the rules and scoring but I just keep finding similar games (Whist, Napoleon, etc) that are almost-but-not-quite the same. How do you play this game? [more inside]

Question: how do I go about releasing a card game into print-on-demand format while retaining commercial rights? (I want to make it available for hobbyists and players, but don't want a company to scoop my design and sell it without attribution). I make card games as a hobby, and want to release them into the wild (so the term goes). I just don't want to yield commercial rights, since there's nothing worse than watching someone pull a Thomas Edison on your Tesla-esque ideas. Some people suggested looking at DrivethruCards.com and a few other places (Cards Against Humanity uses a free-license concept I'd love to know more about).

I have friends who enjoy basic card games like poker and Gang of Four but are interested in trying something new. The catch is the place we're most likely to play games is out at bars with friends in various states of intoxication, and sometimes we have a bunch of people. My niece is trying to remember the rules of a card game that involves inflicting various acts of sadism on whoever ends up holding a black Jack. Said sadistic acts are determined by the suits of cards somewhere in play - for example, a Diamond results in a punch, a Club results in a pinch, and so on. The only other thing that she can remember is that one of the black Jacks is removed from the deck before play commences, leaving just one. Any ideas what the game is called, and how it's played?
