I'm looking for some board game suggestions. The target audience would never have the patience for serious German-style strategy games like Settlers of Catan. On the other hand, party games like Cranium or Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity are too freewheeling and silly for them.
What are some games that fall into that sweet spot between serious and silly? Examples could be Rapidough, Pictionary, Balderdash. I haven't played it but I think Ticket to Ride might also fit in here.

I've just been lent an XBox 360 discovered that I'm utterly, embarrassingly dreadful at First (or Third) Person Shooters. What I have enjoyed beyond all expectations though is Petroglyph's splendid
Panzer General: Allied Assault (I'm a big time tabletop and card gamer and own the physical game too). So, lovely hivemind, can you suggest any excellent card/war/strategy games for an XBox I might enjoy just as much? Thanks!

What telnet-able BBS has the largest (or a large) local BRE matches with players who regularly take their turn? Not large networked matches, but large local (same board), non-network matches? The board could have networked games on a separate door install..

Where can I find inexpensive plastic bins that I can keep my board games in that fit the game boards and all the pieces? I've been googling for over an hour and I can't find any 16 x 11 x 2 bins anywhere other than The Container Store. Call me cheap, but I don't want to spend more for a container than I spent on the game in the first place, and at $15.00 each, the Container Store is out. Any advice or recommendations on how you've stored your board games in plastic containers would be appreciated.
