I want some immersive, RPG-style games for Android or iOS. I'm taking a long flight on Friday and I want to sink myself into something fun. I was really hoping Baldur's Gate would be out for iPad before my flight, but it looks like it's been pushed back to next week. I'd like something in the same vein. Preferably something without cutesy, cartoony or 8-bit style graphics.

SO has a frequent long, boring train ride. He also has a brand new Android phone, like I do. What are some two-player games that two people could play together over an android phone to help ride out the train monotony?

My 8yo daughter (in a few weeks) and I love playing Plants vs. Zombies, Angry Birds and other games on Android. We play them on my Xoom, Kindle Fire, and HTC Thunderbolt (phone).
Are there any good games like these (not first person shooters, please. She's 8 and we're Quaker) that would allow us to play against o with each other, one on the Xoom and the other on the Kindle?

Friends & I enjoy playing words-with-friends because it's a) asynchronous/turn-based, so we can play throughout the day without having to find times we're both free; and b) cross-platform, for android & iphone. What other games that fit those two categories should we try?

What are good physics-based Android games? I like World of Goo, Crayon Physics, and X Construction (building railway bridges and running increasingly heavy trains over them).

My girlfriend and I both have an Android phone each. Please recommend some good Android games which allow us to play against each other head-to-head. Puzzle games probably preferred. Thanks!
